Corinne Vigouroux

Corinne Vigouroux (MD, PhD) is Professor of Cellular Biology at Sorbonne University, and hospital practitioner in molecular genetics and endocrinology at Assistance-Publique Hôpitaux de Paris, France, where she coordinates the national reference center for Rare Diseases of Insulin Secretion and Insulin Sensitivity labelled by the French ministries of health and research. For more than 20 years, she has conducted translational studies in the field of severe insulin resistance and lipodystrophy syndromes at Saint-Antoine Research Center (Inserm U938, Paris, France). She contributed to the discovery of several genes involved in these diseases and focuses her current research on the pathophysiology of adipose tissue dysfunctions as well as on diagnosis and care of affected patients.
