Caution: submission scam

We are aware that some authors are receiving emails from ‘Alison Tyler’ who claims to be a Diabetologia Editor. The email invites researchers to submit their work to us outside of our submission system and is followed by a request for payment before online publication. These emails are plausible but NOT legitimate. Please report such correspondence to our office and DO NOT pay any publication fees. This is a scam.
