Tommy Olsson

Tommy Olsson (MD, PhD) is Senior Professor in Endocrinology at Umeå University and also works as a Senior Consultant in Endocrinology at the Department of Medicine, Norrlands University Hospital. He defended his thesis at Umeå University and made his post doc at the Department of Medicine, Western General Hospital, Edinburgh University. His research focus is prevention and treatment of type 2 diabetes including intervention studies with emphasis on lifestyle changes.
