Incoming Editor announced: Professor Hindrik Mulder

Diabetologia, European Diabetology and EASD are delighted to introduce the incoming editor-in-chief of Diabetologia, Professor Hindrik Mulder. Hindrik will take over from the current editor-in-chief, Professor Sally Marshall, on 1 January 2021.

‘I am very much looking forward to taking on the role of Editor from January 2021 and building on the successes of Sally Marshall and her predecessors. I am an MD and Professor of Metabolism at Lund University in Sweden. My translational research asks fundamental questions about the pathophysiology of type 2 diabetes. These translational efforts involve functional genomics, with a focus on cellular, islet and whole-body metabolism. My clinical duties include a weekly out-patient clinic at Skåne University Hospital. I have previously served as European and Senior Editor of J Endocrinology.’ Hindrik Mulder
